Los Suenos is a fisherman’s paradise, a region soaked in salt water and sunshine. Within its lush shores wait an endless collection of Marlins, Dorados, Crevalles, Mackerels and more. It is the heart of the Pacific.
Juan Santamaria International Airport is Los Suenos’ nearest major airline. It’s found in San Jose, less than two hours away. Traveling from the capital city can be difficult, though, for inexperienced anglers, especially as they try to compensate for heavy traffic and fickle road conditions. Utilize these directions to better prepare for the journey:
Leave the Juan Santamaria International Airport.
Turn onto Bernardo Soto Highway.
Remain on the highway until reaching the Orotina Exit.
Take the Orotina Exit, following it until a sign appears for the Herradura Los Suenos Exit.
Take the Herradura Los Suenos Exit.
Remain on this exit until signs appear for the Los Suenos Resort.
Follow those signs.
The journey is approximately 65 miles and should take no more than 1:30. Contact Costa Rica Vacations for further information.
